Good News Community is coming!
Finally, a crisis housing option on the mainland of Galveston County
Good News Community, a development of Everybody's Place, will be the first and only supportive housing community on the mainland of Galveston County for one or two people experiencing homelessness.
The "cottages" at GNC will be well built, attractive and safe allowing for one or two people a place to reset, heal and develop a path to long-term, stable housing. The cottages will be the size of a typical bedroom. There will be private shower/toilets, a laundry room, on-site case managers and a live-in navigator/caretaker.
Good News Community is geared to people in crisis who need short-term housing. It will be transformative for the residents who live here and for the partners who join us to make it a reality. Together we are living out the essential priority to Love Your Neighbor.
