Agape Village

The only supportive housing community for families in Galveston County experiencing homelessness

Agape Village is located just outside of League City. It will consist of 16 beautiful homes: 5 three bedroom, 5 two bedroom and 6 one bedroom. The site work was complete in November, 2024 and construction of the homes began in March, 2025. The homes will be complete in October, then we'll finish the  final site work items (landscaping, sidewalks, fencing, security, etc). We hope to welcome home our first resident families by Thanksgiving.

Agape Village will consist of colorful, historic shotgun-style homes for families and The HUB, a small building for classes, meetings, after-school mentoring and offices.

The center of the community will be a large green space with a playground, outdoor pavilion/kitchen, space for raised vegetable/fruit beds and, most importantly, a place for community.

The concept of community lies at the heart of Agape Village. A community where children can play in safety, where long-term relationships are forged and where grace and joy is normal.

Additionally, residents will participate in weekly classes and case management to help with goal-setting, budgeting, life skills, job readiness and parenting. We'll have cooking, sewing and art classes, movie nights and regular celebrations.

Residents at Agape Village will pay rent and move toward the goal of financially independent living. Most of all, Agape Village will be a place where "home" is not sleeping in a car or living in constant trauma. Home will be a place of hope, healing and joy.
