Good News Community is coming!
Finally, a crisis housing option on the mainland of Galveston County
Good News Community, a development of Everybody's Place, will be the first and only supportive housing community on the mainland of Galveston County for one or two people experiencing homelessness.
The "cottages" at GNC will be well built, attractive and safe allowing for one or two people a place to reset, heal and develop a path to more stable housing. The cottages will have space for a bed, small closet and a place to prepare a meal. There will be shared shower/laundry/toilets for men and women, on-site case managers and live-in navigator/caretaker.
Good News Community is geared to people in crisis who need short-term housing. It will be transformative for the residents who live here and for the partners who join us to make it a reality. Together we are living out the essential priority to Love Your Neighbor.
